We have the answer to healthy hair! While the purpose of the Revåge 670™ Laser is to stop hair loss and regenerate thinning hair, unexpected side effects were discovered during the scientific testing. After a few treatments hair gets thicker, fuller, more body and life. The actual hair shaft (individual hair) is restored to maximum, just like when you were in college. What do you have to do?
Come in for a free consult! Dr. Nair will use a microscopic hair camera test which takes magnified photos of your hair at the scalp level. This will allow him to compare the diameter change in your hair and see new hair growth that is not detectable with the naked eye. Based upon your findings, he will prescribe the right treatment frequency to achieve the ‘shampoo commercial healthy, bouncy hair!’ Treatment is really sitting under the hood of the laser for 20 minutes reading a magazine or catching up on work. The results are cumulative so your commitment is the key to success. You will start out 1 time per week for the first 1 - 2 months and then reduce to 1 – 2 times a month depending upon your actual test results. For less than what many people spend on hair product, you can finally achieve sexy, bouncy hair!
How does the laser Program work?
The Laser Hair Program involves safe Low Level Laser Therapy (cold lasers, no chance to burn) which rotates around your head stimulating the blood flow which regenerates your hair follicles to full, healthy follicles. Healthy follicles are then able to produce healthy hair. Treating the entire scalp quickly stops any continued hair loss.
Are there any side effect? Is it FDA cleared?
No. There are no short or long term side effects with the Laser Hair Therapy class IIIA laser unit; it is FDA approved for cosmetic use.
Does it hurt?
No. There is no pain associated with any aspect of the program. The laser is a Low level Diode laser, without a thermal component. A tingling sensation of the scalp is often noticed during use due to an increase in blood flow in the scalp and hair follicles.
How long has this treatment been on the market?
This program was introduced to the United States less than five years ago; however, individuals in Europe have been using low level lasers for over a decade.
How is the program administered?
Dr. Nair will evaluate your status and prescribe the proper treatment program. When you come in for treatment, a staff member will set up you. Dr. Nair will follow your progress with an analysis every 3 months making any necessary changes and/or recommendations that are tailored to fit your individual needs.
How soon will I begin to see results?
By the end of month 1* your hair will feel fuller and have more body. You will stop losing any more hair by month 2 if you are experiencing thinning. Re-pigmentation does take time and is a cumulative process but you will certainly notice a difference by month 3 – 4. *Each person’s response varies on an individual basis, depending on the state of their follicles.
How do you know if it will work for me?
When you come in for the consultation, Dr. Nair will look at your hair follicles through a microscopic camera lens and be able to tell what stage your hair follicles are in. He will explain your status and let you decide.
Is this a one-time permanent procedure?
Keeping your scalp healthy which produces healthy hair from the inside out requires monthly maintenance.
Is it covered by insurance?
It is considered a cosmetic procedure, so unfortunately most insurance companies will not agree to cover it, but we do offer a variety of payments plans.
